Christians have a funny definition of near. Because for over 2000 years, or over 1/3 of all time if you believe their timeline shit, they’ve been waiting, and waiting and waiting. Damn they’re patient.

But you know what? It’s starting to look like Jesus was selling a scam. Just like all the people since who have predicted the end of the world was going to happen on such and such date.

While doing some research for this week’s rebutal I came across a comment online by a Christian. He had had premarital sex several times, with several women, and had cheated on his current wife. But he mentioned he had repented, so everything is good now.

Reminded me that Christianity is not about doing what is moral, it’s about doing what you want, then going to church, donating some of your income, and getting your get out of hell card.

Such a racket.
