Doubt
Any one with an ounce of critical thinking capability would doubt the exisence of god.
I doubt:
a god who would allow a disease to kill millions of people around the world.
a god who would remain silent while war after war was fought by people arguing over which flavor of religion is the right one.
a god who remains silent while one man leads an army that extinguishes 6 million innocent men, women, and children.
a god who supposedly is perfect but created his planet with hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, fires and earthquakes that kill his flock on a daily basis.
a god who designs men with a foreskin, but then says you have to remove it.
a god who specifies the type of hat you must wear to show your faith. Same goes for facial hair, and other clothing.
a god who declares that homosexuality is wrong, but then constantly releases new products where their gender doesn’t match their genitals.
a god who declares that abortion is wrong, but then he designs women so that 15% of pregnancies end up in miscarriages.
a god who expects us to believe ancient tales of men living in whales, talking bushes, and that one man collected two of every living thing and stuck them on a boat and managed them all without having any of them eat each other or the captain.
a god who had lots to say 2000 years ago when publishing was so hard, but now it seems he’s having a lot of trouble getting his message across.
a god who spends time saving a bible or a cross in a church, after the whole town is wiped out by a tornado.
a god who was so careless documenting the life of the most important human on earth, that we only know the details from a few years of his life.
a god who only thought about documenting anything about Jesus until 50-100 years after he died.
a god who really expects us to believe that people lived to be 900 years old when in reality they were lucky to reach their mid-thirties.
a god who would somehow convince a third of our country that Donald Trump, they guy who has luxuriated in the 7 deadly sins his whole life, is a role model for Christians and should be in charge of running our democracy.
a god who would remain quiet while a bigotted, racist, mysoginist pastor damages the once peaceful community of Ferndale by posting his inflammatory messages on his stupid little church sign every week.
I doubt your attention span is long enough for my entire list, so I’ll leave it at that.
